Who we are
Jobcare was initially formed with State Government funding to provide support for mature age people seeking employment in the Gold Coast region. We now provide the same service in Logan City, as well as delivering a successful Job Network service in Fortitude Valley. We do other things but these are our core activities.
What makes us different?
Our guiding principal is Making a Difference………One Life at a Time. This means that whatever employment service we provide we always focus on the individual. We recognise the importance of assisting job seekers to become job ready, however we believe that’s only part of the solution.

Through our programs we give individuals the opportunity to reflect on their careers and jobs to date and why they chose certain occupations. By using the Guiding Circles principles’ job seekers can find out more about themselves, their likes and dislikes at work and decide on a career path that will hopefully become more fulfilling.
The benefits of this approach are twofold. Job seekers are likely to be more motivated at work and employers will hopefully be able to use newly identified skills and interests.
Our programs speak for themselves. The Mature Age Program alone is achieving a 70% successful outcome and a number of participants are undertaking a completely new career change.
